Whose Is It Anyway?
A phone buzzes in a British classroom and someone whispers "Whose phone is that?" — it happens every single day. In the UK, lockers, chargers, football shirts and group chats all belong to someone, and English has special little words to show it. We use words like my, your, his, her, our, and their, plus the famous 's. Get these right and you'll never awkwardly say "Is this phone of you?" again. Let's sort out whose stuff is whose!

In British schools, "Lost Property" is a legendary place. It's usually a massive box in the school office filled with PE kits, winter coats, and water bottles that people have forgotten. If you don't write your name on the label (using that possessive 's!), your favourite hoodie might end up belonging to the school forever. So, always label your stuff!
