Sophie: Have you got any brothers or sisters?
Elif: Yes, I've got one brother and one sister.
Sophie: Are they older or younger?
Elif: My brother's older — he's 18. My sister's younger, she's 11.
Sophie: What's your brother like?
Elif: He's tall, with dark hair. He's quite quiet but really clever.
Sophie: And your sister?
Elif: She's the opposite! She's short, has curly hair, and she's really loud and funny.
Sophie: Ha! She sounds fun. Does she annoy you sometimes?
Elif: Oh, definitely. But we play video games together, so it's fine. What about you?
Sophie: I'm an only child. Just me, my mum, and my dad. It's peaceful, but sometimes a bit boring!

Culture Note: 'Have got'
In the UK, it's very common to use the phrase "have got" instead of just "have" when talking about family and appearance. For example, a British teen will usually say "I've got a brother" rather than "I have a brother", or "She's got blonde hair" instead of "She has blonde hair". Both are completely correct, but "have got" sounds much more natural in British spoken English!
