In Britain, you can sometimes have sunshine, rain, and wind all in one single day. We have four beautiful seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Sam: Morning! Isn't it absolutely freezing today?
Elif: I know! I had to wear three layers of clothes. What does the forecast say?
Sam: It says it might snow later this afternoon! ❄️
Elif: Really?! We never get snow like this back home.
Sam: In Britain, the weather changes all the time. This morning it was sunny!
Elif: I noticed! Is winter always this cold here?
Sam: Not always. Last year it was quite mild — barely any snow at all.
Elif: Well, I hope it snows properly today. I want to build a giant snowman!
Sam: Ha! Me too. I'll bring the carrots for its nose.

Puddle Jumping and Wellies!
Because it rains quite a lot in Britain, British kids love jumping in muddy puddles! To do this, you need a special pair of boots called 'Wellington boots' or 'wellies'. They are made of rubber and keep your feet completely dry. Next time it rains, put on your wellies and find the biggest puddle you can! ☔👢
