The British Art of Small Talk
British people are famous for talking about the weather — and it's true! Small talk (light, casual conversation) is very important in British culture. It helps people feel comfortable before talking about more serious things. At work, in a queue, or at a social event, knowing how to make small talk is one of the most valuable social skills you can have in Britain. It shows you are polite, approachable, and friendly.

✓ I have been to London. (Doğru past participle kullanımı)
✗ I have go to London. (Yanlış fiil biçimi)

The Classic British Exit
When British people want to end a conversation or leave a social event, they rarely just say 'goodbye'. Instead, there is a famous social ritual. They will slap their knees, stand up, and say 'Right!' or 'Right then!'. This signals to everyone that it is time to go, without being rude or abrupt.
Dizlerine vurur, ayağa kalkar ve 'Right!' (Pekâlâ!) veya 'Right then!' derler.
